This year, Shanxi Electric Power Construction Co, a subsidiary of China Energy Engineering Group, has connected 22 new energy projects to the grid, achieving a total installed capacity of 2.2 gigawatts.

From the Loess Plateau to the coastal areas, these new energy projects are flourishing, including the world's largest integrated project for green hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol, which has emerged in Jilin province. In Shandong, the Zaozhuang-Heze Expressway has transformed into a "green power plant" with full-capacity grid connection for the Tengzhou, Yutai, and Chengwu sections, marking the country's first full-domain integrated energy demonstration project.

The company is deeply invested in the new energy sector, actively exploring new technologies and methods, and consistently advancing research and technology commercialization. This year, the company has secured four invention patents and 16 utility model patents from the China National Intellectual Property Administration.

Shanxi Electric Power Construction's international presence continues to expand: it has signed the largest new energy project in the State of Eritrea, and the construction of the IWMF waste-to-energy plant in Singapore is progressing steadily.

In the first quarter of this year, the company's business performance reached new heights, with contract value, revenue, and profit increasing by 55.6 percent, 33.34 percent, and 10.78 percent, respectively, compared to the same period last year. New energy businesses accounted for 44.60 percent of the total.
