Seventeen representative enterprises from Shanxi province are showcasing their distinctive products and innovative achievements at the 9th China-South Asia Exposition and the 29th China Kunming Import & Export Fair, which kicked off on June 19.

Covering an exhibition area of 160,000 square meters with 16 specialized pavilions, the event attracted over 2,500 domestic and foreign enterprises.

The Shanxi exhibition area features four main sections: Shanxi Energy Innovation, Shanxi Arts, Shanxi Food, and Shanxi Agricultural Sci-tech Innovation Park, focusing on fields such as biotechnology, intelligent manufacturing, specialty foods, and cultural creativity.

At the Shanxi Energy Innovation section, products like 4G intelligent lithium battery packs showcase the strength of "Shanxi Intelligent Manufacturing", with professionals engaging in detailed discussions on the devices. The Shanxi Arts section exhibits Zisha clay teapots and Chengni inkstones, highlighting the wisdom and craftsmanship of folk artists, leaving many foreign visitors in awe of the charm of Chinese traditional culture.

Shanxi Chinese Medicinal Materials Group Co brought nearly 30 products including Hengshan Astragalus and Sesame Pills, introducing more exhibitors to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) culture and promoting Shanxi's TCM products to go global.

According to Su Bin, vice general manager of Shanxi Economic Construction Investment Group Co, "This is an excellent opportunity for us. The expo not only allows us to showcase our products but also facilitates cooperation and international market expansion through exchanges with enterprises from South Asia and around the world."

During the expo, the Shanxi enterprises will also host multiple economic and trade negotiation activities to further strengthen cooperation with South Asia and other countries and regions, facilitating Shanxi enterprises' international expansion and bringing more high-quality Shanxi products to the global market.
