Shanxi officials highlighted the province's optimized business environment and cultural ties with Taiwan, offering tailored policies for cross-Strait collaboration. "Guided by the conviction that we are all of the same family, Shanxi will continue to foster mutual prosperity," said Wang Chengyu, director of Shanxi's Taiwan Affairs Office.

Key opportunities were discussed at the conference, such as Shanxi's growing renewable capacity for artificial intelligence data centers and the development of Black Myth: Wukong-inspired heritage tourism.

The conference also included site visits to Taiwan ventures in Zhejiang, paving the way for deeper industrial cooperation. Delegates noted significant potential in Shanxi's emerging sectors, with several projects entering follow-up negotiations.

Huang Dingchuan, the president of the Hangzhou Taiwan Compatriots-invested Enterprises Association, highlighted Shanxi's trustworthy business environment rooted in its historic Shanxi merchant legacy.

"Shanxi's transformation from coal hub to multi-sector investment destination creates unprecedented opportunities," said Yang Chunquan, director of the Shanxi Investment Promotion Bureau.
