Organized by Shanxi Provincial Industry-Education Integration Association, a seminar on integration of the industrial and educational sectors was held on Sept 15 at the Zhongbo Information Industrial Park in Taiyuan, the capital city of Shanxi province, as part of efforts to implement the strategic cooperation framework agreement signed on August 28 between the Shanxi provincial government and China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC).
It focused on promoting the deep integration of talent cultivation and industrial upgrading in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and the low-altitude economy. Policy interpretation, technology sharing, demand alignment, and project implementation were discussed at the seminar.
Chen Ling, executive director of the CETC Industry-Education Integration Basic Research Institute, stated that the institute will focus on the electronic information field, using "industry-education integration and science-education convergence" as the core pathway to build a modern vocational education ecosystem combining the education, talent, industry and innovation chains.
Liu Zhixing, deputy general manager of ChatGLM Technology, said that in the future, the company will continue to collaborate with the CETC Industry-Education Integration Basic Research Institute to empower universities.
During the discussion session, representatives from universities and enterprises engaged in pragmatic exchanges on topics such as joint construction of training bases and formulating joint talent cultivation plans.
At the seminar, the Shanxi Provincial Industry-Education Integration Promotion Association and the CETC Industry-Education Integration Basic Research Institute held a ceremony for the signing of agreements on their strategic cooperation, marking a new phase of systematic promotion and deep integration in Shanxi's industry-education collaboration.
