The three-day first Spring Festival farm produce fair in Yangquan city concluded Jan 14 with on-site sales worth more than 800,000 yuan ($116,623). 

More than 60 local agricultural companies displayed over 300 kinds of farm produce in eight categories at the fair, attracting more shoppers by offering tasting opportunities free of charge.

The fair showcased the new agricultural products and industrial achievements of the city, and established a platform for the introduction of agricultural technology, brand promotion and production-marketing matchmaking.
